This week on “The Reel Critic,” host Reggie Ponder breaks down the 2023 remix of 1990 classic film House Party.

In this remix of House Party, two friends and aspiring club promoters Damon and Kevin, played by Tosin Cole and Jacob Latimore, are cleaning houses to make a little money. In need of a cash windfall, the two decide to throw the party of the year in the last house they’re supposed to clean: LeBron James’ mansion.

House Party is directed by acclaimed filmmaker, music video and commercial director Calmatic, and is co-produced by LeBron James and Maverick Carter. It also stars Kid Cudi, Lil Wayne, Andrew Santino and, of course, LeBron himself.
