Vocalo Radio is Chicago’s Urban Alternative – the nation’s first 24/7 non-profit radio station focusing on R&B, Hip Hop, Jazz, Dance music and more. We are also our city’s only NPR Music station.
Chicago is at the epicenter of cultural and social movements not currently represented on commercial FM airwaves. We aspire to be that soundtrack that amplifies our city and makes you say and feel — this is what Chicago sounds like.

In our Chicago listening area, you can tune into Vocalo on 91.5 FM HD2 (on HD Radios), on 91.1 FM on other radios, and on 89.5 FM in Northwest Indiana.
