Mother Nature Teams Up With Members of Free Nationals For “Crystal Cadillac”
Written by Morgan Ciocca on September 20, 2022
Mother Nature released their latest single today — produced by José Ríos and Kelsey González of Grammy-nominated R&B band Free Nationals.
After describing the single on Twitter as “an absolute joy to make happen,” Mother Nature dropped “Crystal Cadillac” in collaboration with guitarist and vocalist José Ríos and bass guitarist Kelsey González of acclaimed group Free Nationals.
Possibly best known for their frequent work with Anderson .Paak as his backing band, Free Nationals have collaborated with artists like Mac Miller, Kali Uchis and Daniel Caesar. Their December 2019 self-titled debut album was nominated for Best Progressive R&B Album at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards.
“Crystal Cadillac” is Mother Nature’s second release of 2022, following up June’s Nature’s World EP in collaboration with producer Renzell, and serves as the hip-hop duo’s feel-good anthem, perfect to cap off summer.
