Come Celebrate emerging media makers!
Free Spirit Media’s annual FOCUS fundraiser will put YOU in the room with Chicago’s film industry, philanthropic leaders and community members to celebrate 18 years of youth skill development and media creation. Enjoy an open bar and tasty food. Attire is summer chic. This year we will be featuring DJ Rae Chardonnay and Melissa DuPrey, as our emcee!
FOCUS is their annual fundraiser that celebrates youth media makers and the key role that programs play in amplifying youth voices. Free Spirit Media is thrilled to have spent more than 18 years empowering our youth to recognize their potential and to realize their dreams. They are aiming to transform media and society, providing an outlet and medium that leads to the empowerment of emerging young media and the representation of all people in mainstream media. FOCUS provides the opportunity to meet with the philanthropic and civic leaders, community partners, film industry professionals, and the young adults creating diverse content that challenges stereotypes and advances representation.
