Written by Vocalo Radio on February 12, 2019
Sydney Charles joined Jill Hopkins in the studio to talk about her titular role in the play, “Nina Simone: Four Women.” The show is a tribute to the musical genius and activist and tells a story that reveals the importance of women in the civil rights movement and the lack of historical credit they’ve received.
The Northlight Theater’s production runs through March 4th.
