We're dedicated to pushing the boundaries of democratizing media and creating a truly public media platform where informed citizens like YOU engage in conversations, create dialogue, share ideas, express opinions and create an alternative to Big media channels.

There are a lot of ways to make media:

UPLOAD: Use Vocalo.org to start your multimedia blog. Upload your pictures, videos and audio (personal stories, commentary, interviews, music, poetry, sound art, daily thoughts, epiphanies, etc.). Good compelling stories, music and insightful commentary are guaranteed to be broadcast on 89.5 FM Chesterton, IN and streamed on our website!

YOUR PHONE IS YOUR MICROPHONE: Call our Hotline: 888-635-1112 and leave us your messages, your thoughts, provocative interviews, etc. If you register your phone number in your profile, your phone calls will automatically post there!

FREE TRAINING: You can attend our free Make-Your-Own-Radio trainings or use our online tips to learn more about audio production and radio making. We also offer plenty of internships and volunteer opportunities.

OPEN DOORS: Every Saturday we hold an orientation session where you can learn about Vocalo.org in person and how to get involved in this exciting project!
