Vocalo.org is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of democratizing media and creating a truly public media platform where informed citizens like YOU engage in conversation, share ideas, express opinions with friends and folks you don't know from across the Lake Michigan region.

There are a lot of ways to make media:

• UPLOAD: Use Vocalo.org to start your blog. Upload your pictures, videos and audio (personal stories, commentary, interviews, music, poetry, daily thoughts, etc.). Good compelling stories, music and insightful commentary are featured on the broadcast on 89.5 FM and streamed on our website!
• YOUR PHONE IS YOUR MICROPHONE: Call our Hotline: 888-635-1112 and leave us your messages, your thoughts, provocative interviews, etc. If you register your phone number in your profile, your phone calls will automatically post to your blog! If you'd like to leave your thoughts anonymously, call our secret hotline at 888-963-1112.
• FREE TRAINING: We offer a variety of free trainings or use our online tips to learn more about audio production and radio making. We also offer plenty of internships and volunteer opportunities.
