It is no surprise that Panda Riot was formed out of a film scoring project started by band members Rebecca and Brian. The band’s sound is perfectly cinematic with layers of swirling keys and guitar soundscapes. And having drowned their sound in the proper amount of reverb, the group is keen on bringing out the airy vocals and melodic hooks to create a nice balance between shoegaze and pop appeal.
