Tonight we discuss  psilocybin with our guest Lux who is the Contributing Editor for Erowid.

We discuss a  recent psilocybin study on the effects of psilocybin conducted at Johns Hopkins. Lux wrote an article on the study

One of the most stimulating things about the topic of psychedelics for me is that it is a meeting point of several disciplines which are themselves quite interesting - psychology, culture, biology, chemistry, pharmacology, law, and religious studies all converge around this topic. I think this recent study is a lovely illustration of that convergence and synergy, in addition to just being a fascinating piece of work.The researchers published results of a 14-month followup in June, I believe, in the Journal of Psychopharmacology.
