The Rundown

Today we'll deal with punishment and crime.

We'll hear from kids living in the juvenile detention center, Audy Home, people in Back-of-the-Yards reacting to shootings that happened back in October, an interview with slain high school student Dee Dee Marsh recorded before her death, and Curie Youth Radio's musical setting for the Chicago Public Schools Student Discipline Code.

Here's some stuff to think about as you're listening:

Have you ever been punished for something? How did you feel before, during and after the punishment?

Does crime impact your life or your neighborhood? Tell us about it.

Do prisons do a good job of punishing people who commit crimes? Are prison sentences effective in preventing crime?

Are there things we commonly consider crimes that you think are ok or should be legal?

Give us a call live in the studio, 312-893-2993.
