If someone is taking your stuff, can you shoot them?
We're following up on media reports from Northwest Indiana, in the case of Steve Gamble of Griffith, Indiana. Prosecutors say he saw a man breaking into his car outside his apartment and rushed out with a gun. When police arrived, he told them he shot the man. They charged him with murder.
Several comments at the Times of Northwest Indiana have supported Gamble.
We'll ask Ivan Bodensteiner, Constitutional law professor at Valparaiso University, when can you legally use a gun to stop a thief.
Later, we'll ask Gamble's attorney David Vandercoy about his client and to fill in some of the details about what happened that early January morning.
