Claudine Williams A-K-A “Eternity” I grew up in Harvey IL. As a youth experience the effects inequality in urban communities; lack of after school programs and positive mentors lead me to gang involvement. My pivotal moment was in 1997, while attending the “The Million Women March,” the inspiring words of Winnie Mandela, (former wife of South African President Nelson Mandela) and Hip Hop Artist and Poet, Sister Soldier, transformed me.
I enrolled in South Suburban College obtaining my Associate Degree in Communications, later transferred to Columbia College Chicago, majoring in Radio Broadcasting. As a recent Columbia graduate, I adopted the radio name “Eternity,” which signifies my mission, to become “America’s Next Voice for the People Forever.”
My favorite quote, “You can’t expect to have a better tomorrow, if you’re always thinking about yesterday,” has guided me through many of life’s pains and pleasure. Today I'm proud to be one of the newest members of Vocalo.org
