Katha Pollitt, best known as a political columnist for The Nation, does some Q&A at Chicago's own Women and Children First Bookstore (www.womenandchildrenfirst.com). Pollitt's most recent literary effort, Learning to Drive:And Other Life Stories, chronicles her experiences with a philandering boyfriend, fear of driving, death, aging, parenthood, and her first post-college job as a proofreader of pornographic novels.
