Karl Brinson, President of Chicago's Westside Branch of the NAACP, cared enough about media ownership to sponsor a training session prior to the hearings. He was at the hearings, too, so afterwards I checked in with him to get his reaction. Here, he explains why the NAACP cares about media ownership, and how a more diverse ownership landscape could actually help fight racism.
