Lloyd Brodnax King is Content Director for Vocalo.org. Currently Lloyd runs The Factory at Vocalo, an audio production house and training center dedicated to helping volunteers and collaborators produce radio. The Factory trains folks for free on Saturdays (write info@vocalo.org if you're interested). Lloyd received his BA in Music from Marlboro College and his MM from Roosevelt University. He's won many awards for music composition and for his retired podcast, the obscure news, including an NEA fellowship, an Illinois Arts Council fellowship and a Joseph Jefferson award. He's held jobs as house painter, musician, college professor and academic administrator. For fun, Lloyd hangs around home with his wife and dog, plays in a band called funkadesi, and a band called the Other Brothers.
