Sunday Parkways, an effort of the Chicagoland Bicycle Federation, five neighborhood organizations, the Chicago Park District, the Police Department, and the Mayor's Office, had their first event on Sunday, October 5. Regular streetscape gets experienced as park space when traffic is blocked for a dozen or so miles in what Rob Sadowsky hopes will become a regular event.
