Fetla is playing with Lauren Frost, Pathos Vastus, Darlyne Cain, and one band TBA at the Elbo Room on Wednesday, October 1st. Fetla goes on stage at 10:30PM; the show starts at 8:30PM.

Fetla is a band based in Chicago.
All hailing from the same high school of Boone Grove in Indiana, the three members of Fetla got together in 2004, after Travis Lee Wiggins and Stephen Dranger began writing songs for what would become the new band. A year and two self-recorded albums, and dozens of shows later, Fetla went on hiatus after Stephen went off to explore Japan.
After 3 years of hiatus, Fetla returned with a new, more mature sound. Now they've recorded a new album entitled "Sweet Disaster," a unique blend of catchy indie pop that borrows from the 50s and 60s, and features instrumentation from guitar to piano to trumpet.
While on hiatus, members of Fetla worked as members of other groups in the Chicagoland scene: Mike Regan is a member of Suburbanite and Travis Lee Wiggins founded Essex Chanel and The Summer Salts. Each of these groups have enjoyed playing regularly in the Chicago area. Each member of Fetla is also a multi-instrumentalist, and they often switch instruments on stage.
