Access Living
This is a picture of a button that was on display at the Access Living Center. The Freedom School visited the Center during the summer (2008). It was one of my favorite trips. Every Friday we went on a trip for Legacy Movement Day and we learned about movements in all sorts of communities that have happened in history. In this trip we learned about the struggles of people with disabilities and how hard they've worked to protect their rights. They're the reason public transportation recognizes and now meets the standards to serve people with disabilities. We took a tour of a display showing their history, this picture bellow is one I took of a button that caught my eye. I wish everyone in this world would see this picture =)
