My name is Hector Nava. I am 16 years of age. I currently attend Kelly High School. I like to act, write, and listen to music. I believe in the ability of change for a better tomorrow. I believe in the strength within teenagers. I believe that who and what we are doesn’t restrict us from making change. In the past few weeks at the Chicago Freedom School I’ve learned the importance of the change that teens can create. An issue in which I feel like we all are affected by is animal cruelty and abuse. I think this is a strong, heavy issue which affects other world wide issues such as global warming and our health. I commit to educating people and starting my own group or website in which people can be educated on the issues of this cause. I dedicate my work to all the animal activists who are out there fighting this greatly important cause.
