With costs rising, more people are turning to pantries, soup kitchens and shelters to help make ends meet. The Greater Chicago Food Depository served 20 percent more individuals during the past year. LaVerne Morris shares her experiences as coordinator of St. Columbanus Pantry on the South Side.
