Former Providence, RI Mayor Vincent "Buddy" Cianci introduced Mayor's Own Marina (proceeds benefit Providence School Children) which is still prominently stocked in area grocery stores, despite the fact that he was senteced to five years in prison on federal corruption charges. Buddy has been out of the pokey since May 2007, and will be elgibile to run for mayor of Providence in 2014.
What I'm wondering is - what product would Mayor Rudy Clay be selling in Gary? What item gets a photo of Jon Costas on it in the Valpo corner store? What would Mayor Richard M. Daley's mug get you to buy?
