I'll be specific. The line "This call is coming from a correctional facility," came from a transcript of Mumia Abu-Jamal (Bill Anderson Show, Radio 1340, July 13, 1999). And the line was given voice by "Amy" through Cepstral Text-to-Speech: (http://cepstral.com/demos/). The answering machine voice was from a GE answering machine. The mic was a Blue Snowball. Call made from cell phone to land line. Mixing software was Adobe Audition (formerly Cool Edit Pro). Phew...
