Some time in the 1990s I was living with a friend of mine in Seattle - actually, I was sleeping on his floor (which lasted close to a year). Anyway, I had been a devote viewer of Chris Carter's "The X-Files" and carried with me every episode on home recorded VHS tapes (yes, boxes of them!). So, being unemployed and lots of free time I connected the TV up to the stereo and fed a line over to my computer. I re-watched every episode that had my favorite character "Mr. X" (played by Steven Williams) and recorded a bunch of samples of his lines. I simply used the windows 95 sound recorder and placed the samples on top of a dub tune by the Mad Professor called "Ethnic Cleansing Dub." Yes, it's a very crude collage but I still really like the outcome...check it out and tell me what you think. Long live Mr. X!!!
