An Interview with Slap Ya Mama
This past weekend's National Restaurant Association trade show included exhibitors for all sorts of restaurant needs from meat cookers to vegetarian foods, from customer loyalty programs to beverage dispensing equipment. Many have predictable names that seem to tell exactly what they do. Then there's Slap Ya Mama Cajun Seasoning. I stopped by their booth and chatted with Jack Walker, who explained the name.

Me
This ties together LSD and raw foods:My ex-boyfriend became a vegetarian because of LSD. He was tripping out in the farmlands, and he ran upon a cow. He said he looked into the cow's eyes and saw that it was a feeling, sentient being. From that moment on, he could not eat meat. That was more than 25 years ago.I wish I was a vegetarian. But Iike the taste of birds way too much. Maybe I should drop acid and commune with a chicken.kisses, strepsata
