Today, I would like to recall a Christmas in Cabrini that has been the crescendo of any Christmas that I have experienced throughout my travels. For thirteen years of my life I lived at 365 W. Oak St. which is one of the last "red" buildings left standing in Cabrini. Every Christmas my mother Rosetta Ambrose would pull out the tree and all of the children would reassemble it. Then Ma would play Christmas records by Nat King Cole, the Jackson's, Temptations, Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Kurtis Blow and Bing Crosby. Simultaneously, throughout the projects you could hear Donny Hathaway's 'This Christmas' blasting on the radio. I always enjoyed the week before Christmas. I 'd run home from school to watch all the specials. I was especially fond of Charlie Brown's Christmas. Speaking of school, my two brothers and sisterattended Richard E. Byrd and each school year we'd have a Christmas and end of the year party. We'd also have a party in the recreation room of our building. On Christmas day our apartment was always filled with plenty of egg nog, food and family. Ham, turkey, macaroni and cheese, greens, candied yams, sweet potato pies, you name it and we had it. Ma shared with us how some of the Christmases that she experienced. Ma said that back when she was a kid they were lucky to have a roof over their head and food in the refrigerator. Ma said that she didn't want her children to have to go through what she did. Ma said that Christmas had become too commercialized and that the meaning has gotten lost over the years. Nonetheless, every Christmas that we had was the bomb! We may not have gotten all that we asked for but we got enough. This particular Christmas in the early 80's, Ma heard from a neighbor that gifts were being given away in one of the 'white projects' to children and Ma asked my older sister Karen and I if we'd like to go. My sister and I were very excited. We arrived at the building and saw a line wrapped around the corner. In the bitter cold we stood for what seemed like hours . At that time in my life I was a big fan of Mickey and Minnie Mouse. One Christmas Ma bought me and my grab bag partner matching Mickey and Minnie Mouse watches. My sister Karen was a big fan of Ken and Barbie. She owned their country town home and some of the cars. As we entered the building, we were handed candy canes and I could hear a man saying, ho, ho, ho and Merry X mas. When some of the children came out of the apartment they had large boxes and some of them had smaller boxes but the looks on their faces were of pure joy. When it was our turn to enter the apartment the tall jolly man dressed as Santa who had big brown eyes and a warm smile handed us two boxes and said, 'Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!" My sister and I ran all the way home without stopping to make angels in the snow. I shook my box but wasn't able to hear anything. I placed my box under the tree waiting anxiously for Christmas to arrive. The night before Christmas as hard as I tried I could not go to sleep. I could hear Ma and Dad assembling our toys and talking. I would pretend to have to use the bathroom just to get a peak at what was going on. After a few hours, I didn't hear anything so I'd get up and go into the livingroom. My parents were fast asleep. My brothers and sister were fast asleep. I looked for all of the gifts that had my name, Doreen attached to them. I saved my gift from the brown eyed Santa Claus for last. Lo and behold, it was a Minnie Mouse doll. My heart skipped a beat. I hugged her tight and never let her go. Just as I have never let go the memory of that Christmas, MerryChristmas, to all and to all a good night.
Here is a point I will raise with you. (1) allegedly Christ was born and this was the symbol of a new beginning.
(2) then just after his birth across the planet we then party it up because it's a new year. Birth then there is the new year which is rebirth and or a time we can forget and forgive the past and start over new by understanding the past events and not doing the same thing again.
But what do we do - Go into war with a poor country where the people's only wealth is coming from the poppy plant, the Taliban was trained by Isis who were trained by the CIA

So we look at movies that tell the tale, like GOD FATHER III where the mob took over the Vatican bank and it’s holding properties worldwide, while the GOD father sought to have everyone he could trained as LAWYERS in order to control the courts, again if you control the justice system then the corrupt win out and the little man, well he is at the hands of a death machine that tells you that wrong is right and wrong will make you rich! We are ok with this. We are ok with a system that tells you that you can not travel, and can take away your personal and private property with a Judges hammer, that will not review and or look into self created “CONFLICTS OF INTEREST” and backdoor money coming within they’re hands and who in the past referred to themselves as GOD as Judge LaFrevor told it within his court room in Chicago, where this man had a few years in prison but caused many to go to they’re death because of insane backdoor paid convictions, remembering Greylord and now its just there and if you go against it you can be jailed like Attorney Richard Fine of California and others who caught them red handed falsifying judgments in order to get money from the other side.
and say WOW SEE THAT WOW THIS IS WHAT IS HAPPENING! again it's a new year - we murder - we food and booze it up- watch the super bowl get fat and go right back at it again _ we create only if they tell us to work and create and are all ready for the slaughter, waiting for Christ to come again to do EVERYTHING FOR US, but was it not the point for man to have control over the planet and act in the why that God intended? instead we kicked back, as watch and do nothing and claim that we are acting in gods will, within the course of worldwide murders, drugging up the poor and middle class, denying people the right to life without being taxed to death, children raped, housing taken away like slaves and we sit back and accept all of the evils of this world attacking anyone who tells you the truth.
We have lost so many who had the courage to come forth and fight with no one backing them we have lost the lives of children our children being killed in the middle east murdered by the goons of the CIA setting up the bases of a war machines being used to harvest corporations oil games and drug empires!
We look at the poorest people on the planet and believe they will kill us all while we hold the weapons, I asked some of the people why do they suicide bomb, and I was told, they have nothing they’re families are murdered right in front of them, they have marshal law, they live with many other families get rations of food and water, and if they attempt to go get a family member out of the street when government controlled gunmen arrive with military weapons bought from Russia and or the USA they are killed they can not buried they’re dead over sea’s and so why should they care and this is why they kill themselves thinking that it is better off than living this life.
Then we create house and senate bills i.e the Migration ACT allowing the very people that we have harmed the right to come and live there in the US and opening the doors to people who hate us, some maybe with terrorist agenda. Then we cry out if they get on planes with shoe and leg bombs not understanding that we are at war and maybe we should not allow they very people we are killing into this country right now. And it gets worse! (

Mafia cops target Vatican bank

Anti mafia cops are asking the Pope to authorise access for police to see secret accounts in the Vatican’s private offshore bank as part of money laundering investigations, it emerged today.
The Church’s Institute for Religious Works accepts accounts from priests, Vatican city residents and worshippers who agree to donate part of their money to the Church.
Because of a special agreement with the Italian state, the bank gives high interest and transfers profits back to high street banks in Italy.
Now prosecutors are seeking access to the accounts as part of an investigation into organised crime money laundering, reports La Stampa newspaper.
According to police more than 60 million GBP has passed through just three targeted accounts within a year.
Bank president Ettore Gotti Tedeschi said he is co-operating with the investigation.
