Vocalo.org had the opportunity to have their afternoon host, Luis Perez broadcast live from Youth Peace Center in Roseland. The Youth Peace Center in Chicago's Roseland community, known as "Pretend Town" aims to empower the community through its youth programs, events and social group.

During Vocalo's visit to "Pretend Town", Vocalo has the opportunity to learn more about "Pretend Town" and Fenger High School students shared their stories about being part of the center and the Roseland community. During the broadcast the Christian rap duo, Holy Ghost Boyz performed live and a tribute to Derrion Albert, the 16-year-old boy who was beat to death was given during the broadcast.

On Wednesday, October 21, Vocalo host Luis Perez, location producer Shantell Jamison, and technical producer Erik Roldan hosted a live broadcast from the Youth Peace Center at 402 W 111th Street in Chicago's Roseland Neighborhood.
