What: Vocalo.org, 89.5 FM WBEW, invites its listeners and the public to a live broadcast event on December 17, from Pioneer Gardens, a senior assisted living facility in Chicago’s Bronzeville neighborhood.
Come share your stories live on the air. Listeners may also call the hotline, (888) 635-1112, or participate online at www.vocalo.org. The event is free to the public.
Why: Says Vocalo.org interim general manager Adam Yoffe, “As part of the mission of the station, we reach out to local institutions like Pioneer Gardens to get voices on the airwaves that you won’t hear anywhere else.”
Who: Vocalo.org host producer Brian Babylon will emcee the broadcast. Special guests will include the residents of Pioneer Gardens.
When: The live remote broadcast will be held on Thursday, December 17, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: Pioneer Gardens is located at 3800 S. King Drive, Chicago.
