The Black Butterfly Movie is about an aspiring young Black Female Swimmer who is vying to try out for the Olympics. Black Butterfly a feature length film about a 16 year old young girl from Chicago's Englewood community, who's amazing gift as a female swimmer gets the attention of the US Olympic Women's Swim Team. However, her dreams are destroyed after being brutally raped, she attempts to fight the demons and overcome the pain of losing her value as a human being. Her life is changed forever.What draws the line between pain and possibility for Ariel?
